No marketing. Ever.

We will never send you a marketing email. Not a newsletter, not a "we miss you", not a product announcement. Every email from JoynUs is triggered by a specific action you took — a magic-link login, an RSVP notification, or a reminder you opted in to. If you didn't trigger it, we didn't send it.

Your data is yours.

Your guest lists, contact books, and event details belong to you. We do not sell them, share them, or analyse them for advertising. We process your data solely to run the service you signed up for. When you delete an event or close your account, the data is gone.

Word of mouth only.

JoynUs grows because people love using it — not because we mine your address book for growth. We rely entirely on word of mouth. We would rather have fewer users who genuinely enjoy the product than millions who feel manipulated into using it.

POPIA note

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), the host (event organiser) is the responsible party for their guests' personal information. JoynUs acts as operator, processing that data only on the host's instructions to deliver the service. Guests who want to exercise their rights (access, correction, deletion) should contact the host directly.
